Probable date of 1843 supplied by Simon Morgan of the Letters of Richard Cobden Project. (Cobden was in mourning after the death of his son in January 1843.) Letter tipped into bound volume of 10 pamphlets pertaining to the Corn Laws, call number: Pforz (Anti-Corn) Vol. 2.
